Colleen T. Rose, MS, RNFA, NP-C
Colleen Rose is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner providing Interventional Pain Management at Lakeside Spine & Pain. Colleen earned an Associate of Science in Nursing at San Bernardino Valley College followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Public Health Nurse from the University of Phoenix. Following completion of her undergraduate studies, Colleen went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from the prestigious Loma Linda University in Southern California. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Colleen brings a strong background and expertise to Lakeside Spine & Pain including over 22 years of experience in critical care, organ procurement, transplant medicine, neurosurgery and pain management. She has a wealth of knowledge with past experiences caring for patients in various neurological critical care units and in the neurosurgery outpatient care setting. As a certified surgical first assist, Colleen also has operative room experience assisting surgeons in a wide range of complex surgeries.
Aside from clinical practice, Colleen has a passion for neuroscience education and has taught health care professionals at the Arrowhead Neuroscience Foundation. Additionally, Colleen is an instructor for Registered Nurse Stroke Speciality Certification. She has presented extensively at numerous professional conferences and community outreach programs on organ donation and transplantation. She is also involved in medical research and has published studies in several renowned medical journals, including the American Academy of Pediatrics and Neurosurgical Intensive Care.
Colleen’s unassuming demeanor, extensive knowledge in neuroscience, and passion for patient care bodes well in pain management. We are thrilled to have her join the Lakeside Spine & Pain team!
