How do I get started?

Once you have decided that physical therapy is right for you, call the office and we will be more than happy to schedule an appointment for your initial evaluation. You must obtain a prescription from MD in order to bill your insurance.

What insurance do you accept?

We accept Medicare, workman’s comp, most state insurance and most private insurance plans/ PPOs. For further verification please call the office. As a courtesy, we will call your insurance company and verify your plan’s physical therapy benefits.

What to expect during my first visit

You will be asked to bring your prescription from your medical doctor and provide your insurance/medical card as well as fill out some initial paperwork.  (Please arrive early to do so) You will then be evaluated by one of our physical therapists who will ask you to provide information on your injury followed by a physical evaluation including strength testing, range of motion, flexibility, etc. . Your physical therapist will then make an assessment based upon your diagnosis and clinical findings and implement an appropriate treatment and exercise program.

What should I wear?

Please wear clothing that you can move freely in and allows the therapist access to injured site. Closed toe shoes are recommended.

How long will each treatment take?

Typical treatment lengths will vary from 30 min to 60 min.
